Build + Design Day 2025 Exhibitor Info

• Doors are open to visitors from 9 am - 2 pm.
• Exhibitor representatives are encouraged to stay as long as possible. We have a lot of kids entertainment organised so feel free to bring your little ones. Please be on-site by 8.30am where possible.

PLEASE ANSWER THESE QUESTIONS:

We need your responses! Please email hollie@residium.co.nz with your answers to the following:

  • Showroom Staffing: Can you staff your Residium showroom on March 22 from 9am – 2pm? Even partial coverage is welcome.

  • Donate a prize – let us know!: Can your business donate a prize? Previous years’ contributions are always amazing, and we’re aiming to top them this year. It doesn’t have to be extravagant!

  • Do you have any new products to feature? Send details (including imagery) to Hollie for inclusion in marketing. 

  • Exclusive Promotions: Can you offer an exclusive discount code or promotion on your products or services? If so, please let us know so we can design handouts and flyers to market this offer. If we have enough of these we’ll make up some Build + Design Day Deals hand outs!

  • Spin-the-Wheel Contributions: Do you have fun branded items (e.g., hats, drink bottles, tote bags, notebooks) to contribute for a “spin-the-wheel” giveaway? (Please note: We are not seeking brochures or pens at this time.)

PACK-IN:

If you have specific products, items or display materials to bring, courier them to us ahead or pack in anytime on Thursday or Friday. If you need access outside of our usual open hours, please let Yvonne or Hollie know - we will accomodate any requests.

Hollie will open Residium at 7 am for exhibitors on Saturday 22nd March. If you’re packing in on Saturday, please be completed by 8.30am. We have no on-site storage for packaging at the moment, sorry!

Pack-out any time from 2pm, not before. If you need to leave early, the Residium Team can pack-up for you and you can collect your items at a later date.

HOSPITALITY:

• If you need a chair, please ask at Reception on the day.
• The kitchen is open for exhibitors only.
• BYO lunch or make use of one of our food trucks
• Free barista coffee will be available all day at the coffee cart or at Reception. Help yourself!

WiFi is available throughout the showroom.

We have a range of activities planned throughout the day. If you have any ideas to add to this list, email hollie@residium.co.nz or Deepish will contact you with suggestions:

  • Open Showrooms 9am - 2pm

  • Kitchen Design Seminar in the Conference Room at 11 am

  • Bath Salt Making Station at ABI Interiors, all day

  • ABI Interiors Tile Collection preview all day

  • Spin-The-Wheel activation

  • Launch of new showrooms: ABI Showroom Extension, Kitchen Mania, Matisse, Marchand, Social Light, Buildspace. (Rinnai + Steel Windows & Doors TBC)

  • Free Barista Coffee Cart

  • Asahi alcohol-free drinks activation

  • Food Trucks

  • Kids’ scavenger hunt and entertainment zone in Section D

  • Brochure Tables, Free Design Magazines for all guests

    Feel free to distribute lollies, small giveaways, and other promotional items in your showroom or supply them directly to us for use with the spin-the-wheel activation.

EXHIBITOR PARKING:

Exhibitors are asked to park off-site to leave Level 3 parking for visitors. There is a Wilson car park at 70 The Strand, across the street, and on-street parking nearby. Please avoid parking in Metrix or Kouzina spaces.

VISITOR PARKING:

Level 3 car park (including non-Residium-marked spots) will be reserved for guests. Alex from Residium will be our parking warden for the day.

VISITOR REGISTRATION & LEADS/BROCHURES:

  • Yvonne will contact anyone whose brochures are running low at Reception.

  • We collect contact information for all visitors who pre-register for tickets, and walk-ins will be registered as usual.

  • You are encouraged to distribute brochures in your showroom, but keep in mind this may bypass our lead generation system. Leads will only appear in your database if brochures are requested at Reception.

  • You may want to collect customer information via a sign-up sheet or similar during the day.

  • All exhibitors who have donated prizes will receive a complete list of entrants on Monday following. Prize winners will also be drawn and notified on that day.

RESIDIUM STAFF:

Your primary contacts on the day are Hollie and Yvonne.

The Residium team will be available to assist you, and they will be wearing name tags.

Martin and Morgaine from Evolve Creations will be on-site to photograph and video the event from 10:30 am – 1 pm. Preliminary photos will be available by Friday 28 March. A link will be sent to all exhibitors.
