9 New Low-Silica Designs from Prime Stone

Nine captivating new Prime Stone designs have officially landed, with more to follow later this year. In a commitment to both style and safety, New Zealand Panels Group has transitioned its entire Prime Stone range to a low-silica composition, utilizing a blend of recycled glass, glass sand, and quartz. With silica levels below 30% on most designs, their products offer a level of safety comparable to granite.

As part of this exercise, New Zealand Panels Group has bid farewell to previous collection names, consolidating everything under the Prime Stone low silica range. Their new pricing categories – ranging from 1 to 5 – provide clarity and ease of selection.

Some of their new designs use the same digital printing technology as Porcelain benchtop products, offering precision and clarity in replicating marble and granite designs. However, unlike Porcelain, which only has white, grey or black options, low-silica Prime Stone maintains a consistent colour edge to the top of the slab, minimising contrast.

For those seeking veined designs, many are available as mirror slabs, facilitating seamless joins both vertically and horizontally.

Customers in Auckland are encouraged to visit New Zealand Panels Group's showroom at Residium to experience the new designs firsthand. The stunning Olympia takes pride of place on the benchtop above their stone display drawers, which now showcases 500 x 500mm slabs of each new design. Additionally, customers can view the striking Calacatta Gold in the adjacent Dezignatek showroom.

It's important to note that Prime Stone is supplied exclusively to fabricators adhering to Worksafe RCS guidelines within controlled wet-cutting environments, audited by IMPAC. The entire low-silica range from New Zealand Panels Group carries Declare accreditation, making it an excellent choice for projects.

At New Zealand Panels Group, they're committed to delivering not just beautiful designs, but also safety, sustainability, and innovation. Explore their new collection today and discover the perfect benchtop or splashback for your space!
