Event Overview

We’re seeing more trade professionals joining their clients at Residium to assist with product selections, not just the architects and designers. This event is designed to introduce trades to the centre and show how exhibitors can support projects from specification through to installation. We’ll be encouraging guests to bring plans, photos or questions about their current and upcoming jobs.

The focus is simple: How can Residium Exhibitors can save them time, help them solve problems and build relationships.

Guests will

  • Join us for a practical morning designed for builders, installers and trade professionals.

  • Meet suppliers, solve product questions and find what they need faster, all in one place.

  • No long presentations. No sales pressure. Just useful conversations and real solutions.

How we’re pitching it to trades

  • Save time sourcing products for their next job

  • Position Residium as a place they can send their clients to choose everything for their projects

  • Get answers to technical or installation questions for current jobs

  • Meet suppliers who can support their project from start to finish

  • Discover new products and alternatives their clients will ask for

  • Build relationships with people they can call when they need them

Event Format

8:00am - Arrival, breakfast and barista coffee for everyone. Exhibitors join us for this bit.

8:30am - Welcome plus short talk.

8:50am - Self-guided showroom visits and exhibitor conversations.

What We Ask of Exhibitors

Your involvement is simple:

  • Have a trade representative in your showroom (if possible)

  • Be ready to introduce your products and what you offer beyond the display to passing trade clients

  • Provide brochures, samples or information where possible

  • We’ll run some giveaways and promotions - Let us know what we can promote in advance.

This is about informal conversations and practical connections.

If you’re not sure this event is relevant for your lifestyle or finishing brand?

This event is trade-focused, but your role is still incredibly important. You are not here to sell directly to trades. You are here to become the brand they recommend to their clients.

Trades are often the ones:

  • On site with the client

  • Helping guide decisions

  • Recommending where to go next

If they trust you, they will send clients to you. It’s a good chance to meet them!

What Guests Will Receive

Each guest will receive a Trade Resource Booklet (print and digital), including:

  • How to use Residium with clients

  • A full showroom directory

  • Trade-specific support info from each exhibitor

  • Links to products currently on display

  • A brochure, sample and magazine library will also be available.

Guest Audience

We’ll do the lions share of guest marketing, but we encourage you to invite your trade contacts along. It’s a good time to take consultation appointments too! Guest list will be shared as leads!

We are targeting:

  • Construction & Building - Builders, renovation contractors, site managers, project managers

  • Installation Trades - Plumbers, electricians, tilers, flooring installers, bathroom installers

  • Joinery & Fabrication - Cabinet makers, kitchen installers, stone fabricators, wardrobe installers

  • Design & Specification - Interior designers, architects, kitchen designers, design-build firms, landscapers

Hospitality

Breakfast and coffee cart will be provided for guests and exhibitors.

On arrival guests will receive:

• Barista coffee
• Light breakfast
• Event booklet
• Access to the brochure and magazine library

Photography

Photography may take place during the event for marketing purposes.
