May Design Discovery Morning In Review

We had a great time on May 16 for our second Design Discovery Morning. The event brought together design professionals and Residium reps for a fun and informative morning of learning. Hosted at the Residium Design + Building Centre in Parnell, Auckland, the morning featured expert-led showroom tours by industry leaders Powersurge, ABI Interiors, and Laminex.

Andrea Harradine of Powersurge captivated attendees with insights into the artistry of stainless steel fabrication, showcasing their latest architectural hardware designs. Renee Royal from ABI Interiors introduced new vanity collections, updated cabinet hardware, and the elegant tumbled aged brass tapware finish, along with the debut of the organic-textured Pedra basin collection. Denise Piper-Smith of Laminex unveiled 17 new laminate décors, including luxurious stone and marble-look finishes, expanded Melteca matches, and a fresh palette of earthy solid colours, offering practical inspiration for joinery and surface design.
