tRACK by Kesseböhmer: A Modular System That Redefines Interior Architecture

tRACK by Kesseböhmer has arrived at Residium — a high-end, architectural shelving and storage system that brings striking form and supreme functionality to any space.

Designed in Germany and now available in New Zealand exclusively through Häfele, tRACK is the latest addition to Häfele’s showroom at Residium, joining the acclaimed CONERO wardrobe interior range. If you’re a designer, joiner, or homeowner working on a bespoke interior fit-out, tRACK is a flexible, visually sophisticated solution regardless of project type.

What is tRACK?

At its core, tRACK is a modular furniture system that merges minimalistic form with architectural flair. It’s equally at home in private homes and commercial interiors, offering an exceptional level of customisation and material quality.

Whether wall-mounted, ceiling-suspended, or free-standing in the centre of a room, tRACK becomes part of the architecture, rather than just furniture within it. A simple but perfectly engineered system of struts, connectors, shelves and cabinet inserts can be configured in virtually any way you can imagine.

tRACK is built to adapt:

  • Build up to 6 metres high

  • Suitable for corners, alcoves, and floating installations

  • Incorporates smart accessories like wine racks, bar compartments, and clothes rails

  • Designed with right angles and clean lines to create visual rhythm

As Kesseböhmer describes, “tRACK is not just a product — it’s a platform for creative expression, system thinking, and architectural storytelling.”

A Modular System With Infinite Possibilities

tRACK's flexibility is its defining feature. The system is based on powder-coated aluminium struts, precision connectors, and sandwich shelves — all available in a wide range of finishes. The elements can be combined into:

  • Open shelving

  • Highboards, lowboards, and sideboards

  • Desks and room dividers

  • Bar units, wardrobes, or media displays

  • Retail shelving

With its die-cast zinc connectors and braces, shelving panels, and cabinet modules, tRACK can take on many roles while maintaining its distinct, elegant aesthetic.

Cabinet modules are finished with either 4-layer matt lacquer in 10 colours, or timber finishes in 4 colours and can be inserted into any tRACK compartment.

Kesseböhmer have thought of everything including the acoustic quality of the shelving, low static powder coating on all struts to reduce dust adherence.

Thoughtful Sustainability

Like the CONERO range, tRACK is sustainably manufactured in Germany. Components are produced at a single location, reducing emissions from transport. High-performance finishes are applied using environmentally friendly processes, and the system's robust construction ensures a long lifecycle — an increasingly important consideration in today’s design landscape.

How to Specify tRACK

tRACK is available in New Zealand through Häfele.

  • Design professionals and fabricators: Contact your Häfele representative for technical documentation, samples, and project support.

  • Homeowners: Speak to your interior designer or joiner about incorporating tRACK into your renovation or new build. They can specify and order through Häfele.

To experience the tRACK system in person, visit the Häfele showroom at Residium Design + Building Centre in Auckland — open 7 days a week. You’ll see tRACK installed alongside the CONERO wardrobe interior system, showcasing how both solutions can work together to create interiors that are both practical and poetic.
