Featured in the Local Project - Connection and collaboration was top of mind when design and construct studio Cachet Group set out to refit the offices of Colgate-Palmolive in Auckland.

Laminex Melteca was chosen for its tactile, matte finish and timber-look aesthetic, delivering the warmth of natural wood in durable, high-traffic commercial joinery. The palette blends blond oak tones with moody green accents, reflecting Colgate-Palmolive’s brand and a biophilic design approach. The HIMACS solid surface benchtop offers a seamless, non-porous finish ideal for commercial and residential applications alike. Sustainability credentials were also prioritised, with Melteca manufactured in New Zealand and FSC/Eco-Choice certified, aligning with the client’s health- and planet-focused ethos.
