Residium welcomes Schweigen: the rangehood and ventilation specialists
Discover the Schweigen difference: silent, powerful, healthier.
We are delighted Schweigen has chosen Residium for its first stand-alone New Zealand showroom giving Kiwi customers more access and choice to their silent rangehood solutions. Proudly 100% Australian owned and operated, Schweigen has 20 years’ experience in silent ventilation technology with more than 150 rangehood and exhaust fan models on offer.
The Schweigen silent story
The key difference with Schweigen rangehoods is their Isodrive® Motors. The German-engineered motors pull steam, smoke and odours to the outside, rather than pushing like conventional rangehoods. They are mounted outside of homes through the roof or wall to ensure quiet air extraction indoors – bringing calmness back to your kitchen. All Isodrive® motors come with a 10-year peace of mind warranty.
All Schweigen rangehoods come with their high performance SteelFlex safety ducting that’s fireproof, prevents the build-up of grease and bacteria, and is backed by a lifetime warranty.
The powerful Isodrive® motor is silent - removed from the rangehood and mounted outside the home.
Rangehood solutions
At Residium you can browse a curated display of Schweigen’s most popular rangehoods to suit all budget and installation requirements, including:
Undermount Rangehoods - Discreet, streamlined designs to integrate seamlessly with any kitchen design. Available in 60cm, 90cm and 120cm sizes, to complement all cabinetry and modern interior design.
Wallmount Rangehoods - Traditional & timeless, these are highly functional as the back wall and surrounding cabinets help direct the steam and aromas directly into the hood.
Alfresco Rangehoods - Schweigen’s BBQ Alfresco rangehoods enable you and your guests to experience a smoke and grease-free environment when entertaining in your outdoor living space.
Island Rangehoods - Specifically designed for open plan living, island rangehoods provide excellent extraction over island benchtops not to mention a design statement.
Ceiling Cassettes - This style of rangehood suits those who prefer a spacious, open, and harmonious kitchen, and is operated through either a handheld remote or wall switch.
